About Me
I work where energy meets data. At CKW I shape how the grid business works with its data — mostly by making sure the people who know the grid best can work with it themselves. I still love building things hands-on, so I run a small software company on the side and teach at FHNW.

DOXA (Data for Operational Excellence and Analytics) is how data work happens in CKW's grid business. We build reliable data products; the specialist departments build their own analyses on top. Questions that used to turn into long projects can now be answered by the people closest to the problem.

A platform where authorities, NGOs, companies and research teams record field observations, review them scientifically and turn them into open biodiversity data. Mobile, offline-capable and multilingual.

Every municipality publishes its building applications differently. BauRadar reads the official gazettes and sends tradespeople the applications that match their trade and region, every morning.

MDM-System
The backbone for smart meter data: from the head-end system through validation (Plausibilisierung) and aggregation all the way to the invoice. I built it end to end and later looked after it.

Virtual Power Plant
VGT took part in the Swiss ancillary services market (SDL) as a prequalified provider. I owned the technical architecture behind it — networking, containerisation and security.
ERP
Energy Billing
A billing system for dynamic solar feed-in tariffs, settled against quarter-hourly exchange prices, and for the tariff models of energy communities. I built it, and it went live at Liechtensteinische Kraftwerke (LKW).
Energy Market
OrtsNetz
I built the platform behind «OrtsNetz», a pilot by EKZ and ETH Zürich for real-time local trading of guarantees of origin (HKN). The BFE-funded project was awarded the Watt d'Or 2025.
UI
Customer Platform
One of the main projects I was involved in was the VGT Customer Portal. It is in production at over 30 Swiss utilities. During my time at VGT, I first started by contributing as a developer and later took over the role of the Tech Lead / Product Owner.

Anomaly Detection
As my Bachelor Thesis, I developed an Anomaly Detection and Substitution System for VGT, which is used to find anomalies and fill gaps in load profiles of smart meters.
